Songs are hidden all over the real world
Travellers leave the song they were listening to at the exact place they were standing. Walk close enough and it appears.
See what others left
Not a playlist — a memory, pinned where it happened, on the ring closest to its true distance.
Leave your own
Say something with it, or stay anonymous. It lands on other maps about an hour later.
Keep the ones that stay
They go in your backpack, with the place and the person you got them from.
Fifty-eight drawn faces to choose from. It is an illustration, never a photograph — and you can leave a song without showing any of them.
Open the app
Real screens, real pixels
The street you are standing on, and the face you chose. Tap the backpack to see what you are carrying.
Each disc sits on the ring closest to its true distance, in its true direction. You walk towards it.
Who left it, where, and the line they wrote with it. The cover opens the track in Spotify.
That is the entire navigation. Home, leave a song, and the list of what is around you.
No feed, no followers, no algorithm. The only score the app keeps is how many countries you left a song in.
I design products, and this one is mine end to end — the pixel art, the app, the rules that keep it anonymous, and this page.
It came from something I noticed travelling: a place can get stuck to a song you would never choose. Making an app has started to feel too serious, and this one has none of that.
Not a travel playlist. The exact place someone was standing when a song became a memory.
